Enbridge Energy has proposed a new oil pipeline right through some of the most productive farm and forestlands in Carlton County and across virgin wetlands and waterways. The Carlton County Land Stewards is a grassroots group of families, farmers, landowners, and individuals that opposes the creation of this new route. All it takes is 5 minutes to make your voice heard! Stop by one of our letter writing open houses to tell the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission that oil and soil don’t mix!
These open houses will feature informal information sessions and step by step instructions for citizens to make their voices heard. All events are free and open to the public.
